Here are a few short snippets from a 4-hour Chant Workshop held January 2015 in the lovely Luisne Centre For Spirituality, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.
Six people, most of whom had never met before, together we explored many different forms of chant from around the world – as well as some vocal exercises and improvisations.
As you’ll hear, the workshop yielded a lovely mix of connection, relaxation, safety, peace and fun for everyone. Enjoy!
26 Aug 2014 With “Something To Sing About” Sligo
A fun, experimental two hour workshop for some eleven (of twenty) members of this Sligo-based choir for those who have survived, or are living with, cancer.
For most it was their first time singing in other languages and pieces with complicated, interlocking timings, rhythms and movements. Despite these challenges there were many successes and (as you’ll hear) much laughter!
